Plantar warts are notoriously painful, but where do they come from?
The answer Hpv. Yes they are caused by hpv, don't be embarassed though, 1 out of 3 adults has it, half of them don't even know and have no signs. Warts start on the bottom of your foot and as they grow, they grow inward. The wart starts to get hard. So all the pressure that goes onto your foot goes on to the wart, and that is why it is painful. How does it work? Honestly I have not clue, but there are guesses floating around the internet, so let's here some.. Adhesive- Some people believe that the adhesive has a chemical in it that reacts with the body causing a small irritation, triggering the immune response. Depriving Oxygen - Some people think that the duct tape deprives the wart of oxygen. This triggers a reaction to fight whatever is on your foot. Either way it seems to be the general thought that it makes the body fight the wart. Is it safe? I can say with absolute certainty that you can get rid of a plantar wart. Duct tape is the only way I have done it. I also haven't read anything about anything happening when people have tried this. So I am going to say yes. Warning- You may have irritation during this process. Instructions:
That's it. So go ahead and give it a shot. Good luck, if you have any other suggestions for wart removal, share down below.
